ARGENTIFERAS DE CORDOBA SA — Bilbao (Spain) 1916. Bearer share of 50 pesetas. Six million pesetas of capital. Illustrated with some facilities and a house or warehouse of the society. It is a known certificate of a silver mine in Cordoba undertaken from Bilbao, founded in 1896.

 Burma Bond

BURMA BOND — for 100 Kyats, 1945. Key document for a collection of different countries because it is very difficult to find Burmese documents. Local printing of fairly high quality. Scarce decoration. What seems to be a redemption plan appears in the back.

 Carregadores Acoreanos

Carregadores Açoreanos — Companhia de Navegaçao (Portugal). Ponta Delgada (Azores) 1920. Illustration of ships, ports, and other allegories. The signature of artist D. Rebello in on the certificate, printed by Devambez (Paris). Share capital in 1920: 2,150,000 escudos insulares (local money of the Azores Islands) divided in 21,000 shares of 100 escudos. The face value was late increased to 300 and then 650 escudos. The names of successive owners appear in detail on the back. This document also shows dividend payments almost uninterrupted from 1922 until 1959.

 Combustibles Liquidos

COMBUSTIBLES LIQUIDOS Y SUS DERIVADOS DA "SECLYD" — (Sociedad Española de) Barcelona (Spain) 1927. Document of an ordinary bearer share of 500 pesetas. Extremely decorative including a motor cycle on a country road, three "Zeppelin" dirigibles in the sky, two pleasure boats in the sea, a seaplane, and four airplanes. No cut coupons appear. The certificate is signed by the Marquis of Quintana as an advisor. It is a fairly rare item.

Chargeurs Reunis SA

CHARGEURS REUNIS SA — Paris 1930. French steam navigation company. A bearer bond of 1,000 Franc. Extremely decorative with many allegories and engravings from Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, and Le Harve. The vignette includes goods, ships, etc. The engraver is Stern. Two small cancelations holes appear in the document. The coupons have been canceled.

Price: Very Inexpensive.

Editions de Romans Historiques Filmes

EDITIONS DE ROMANS HISTORIQUES FILMES (Société Française d') — Paris, 1923. One bearer share of 100 francs. Capital: 1,735,000 francs later raised to 4,000,000. Cinema theme, it seems to have been a film editor of historical novels in the 1920's. No cut coupons appear.

Ferro-Carriles de Montaña

Ferro-Carriles de Montaña A Grandes Presidentes (Sociedad de) — Barcelona (Spain) 1891. Bearer share of 250 Ptas. Capital: 1,500,000 Ptas. Seven of its railway sections from the Montserrat mountains appear as vignettes. There are train illustrations, diagonally placed, of a bridge, monastery, tunnels, and a locomotive pushing the last truck. The capital was raised to 1,800,000 Ptas. in 1893. This document was printed by "Muller & Co." from Lausanne (Switzerland). On the back is a full statement of its standing rules indicating that he aim of the society was the building and exploitation of the railway form Monistrol to Montserrat and from Barcelona to the Tibidabo mountains, the concession of which was not granted at the time.

FOMENTO DE OBRAS Y CONSTRUCCIONES — Barcelona, Spain 1972. A bearer share of 500 Ptas face value (canceled). Multicolored illustration of a worker and stone quarry. The different activities of the society are mentioned such as mines, ditches, promenades and gardens, tracks, sewers, and streetcars.

Maquinaria Industrial SA

MAQUINARIA INDUSTRIAL SA — Barcelona (Spain) 1959 and 1968. Bearer share of 1,000 Pesetas. Capital 45 million pesetas. The company was established on Maquinista Street 41 and later moved to Fernando Junoy Street 2. The vignette has the upper portion representing a factory as though at night.

Oleivinivola del Centro de España SA

Oleivinivola del Centro de España SA — Daimiel, Spain 1928. Ordinary bearer share of 1.000 Ptas. Capital: 3,000,000 Ptas. The signatures of the president and the secretary are in their handwriting. Very interesting themes about wine cellars and both wine and oil production. There is no coupon sheet. On the back there is a payment seal of the dividends from 1927 and 1928.
