American Deforest Wireless Telegraph Company (62k jpg)
Lee DeForest had over 300 patents, the first leading to the development of headphones. He developed the triode in 1906 and is credited with inventing the regenerative circuit that resulted in radio. He broadcast the first music over radio in 1910 featuring Enrico Caruso at the Metropolitan Opera. He developed a sound system for motion pictures in 1919.

The Société des Téléphones Ericsson is a beautiful French certificate. Two attractive blue vignettes show European telephones of the 1911 period, one wall and the other a table phone.

The Gray Telephone Pay Station Company has an interesting vignette of the rotary pay phone used by many older American from the 1930's through the 1950's and even into the 60's.

The American Cable Company (NY) has an engraving of Samuel F. B. Morse, inventor of the telegraph, at the bottom center of the certificate. This certificate is issued to, but not signed by Morse. Most of these certificates have water stains.
